The main level is framed with composite steel beams with 5 to 6 inches of concrete to reduce vibration in the ballroom areas.

Hickory Heights Country Club
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Two story clubhouse with underground cart storage. The basement level has reinforced CMU walls that are acting as bearing and retaining walls. The main level is framed with steel beams and joist with a concrete deck. The roof is wood trusses and conventional wood framing.

A new two-story (first level is split level) clubhouse facility consisting of over 33,000 square feet of enclosed space. The lower level is for cart storage and offices. The main level consists of ballrooms, banquet facilities (with vaulted ceilings) and kitchen. There is also a two-lane porte cochere at the entry. The base lateral design was for a seismic 4 earthquake using wood steel and concrete framing.

Firewheel Country Clubhouse

Two buildings consisting of a 10,000 square foot clubhouse and an 8,000 square foot cart storage building. The clubhouse is a steel framed, split level roof (lower level is wood framing) with an open vista ballroom with steel braced frame structure. The cart storage building is a wood truss building.
